Laser Process has been working hard to help answer the government’s call for additional ventilators in response to the COVID-19 crisis the contribution is a joint effort from across the manufacturing sector of the UK industry. Joining as part of the team of component manufacturers for ventilators, which are based upon on existing technologies.

Laser Process staff worked extended shifts over the Easter Bank Holiday producing parts that are urgently required to fulfil the expected gap in respirator numbers Experts believe the NHS will need at least 30,000 of the devices when the outbreak is at its height.

Laser Process is also involved in further projects including emergency racking destined for Temporary Hospitals & other Temporary facilities set up across the UK & again staff were in & working during the Bank Holiday in a rush to get parts to other manufacturers & on to the NHS as soon as we can.

LP Managing Director Jonathan Horne said
