In the greater scheme of things it is a small, but significant, step in the journey to Industry 4.0 that Laser Process has undertaken. Having trialled LaserQuote24/7 for some time it has now been rolled out to all of our customers.
LaserQuote24/7 is an online quoting system that enables customers to obtain instant laser-cutting quotations at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. Quotations can be generated automatically by uploading a dxf of the component and adding some basic information, material specs, quantity etc. Quotations are emailed back within minutes. Orders can be placed through the system and visitors without an account can pay for their goods by PayPal.
Although the facility is available 24/7, all new users of the system need to register to obtain login details and this needs to be done during normal office hours.
